Hi Everyone, I am just learning the internet scene, but i have been involved with towing and trailers my whole life.  Here on the blog page of Tainium.com i hope that you will all submit questions and answers to others questions and we can create many new topics here.  Right now i am up camping with the in-laws in Coalville, Utah.  We are at a campsite known as Camper-world.  They have campgrounds all over the U.S. But everyone that i have gone to has had the pools under construction... i don't get it... oh well.
I would like to talk a little about the 4000 LB Electric Tongue Jack.  We have been having a couple issues with the fuse on the jack.  It is very touchy when the battery on your trailer gets low, therefore it blows.  This is very frustrating and i apologize for the inconvenience.  The best way i have found to eliminate this problem is simply cut the fuse off and hard wire it.  The jack still has a circuit breaker in the head that will switch off if it senses a problem, but will come back on after it has cooled down.  We have a utility trailer where the battery is hardwired to the jack, and the jack only.  There for it never gets a charge.  In the 2 months that we have had it on there the battery has not died yet and we have had no issues with the jack.  It works perfect. (PS. this was a jack that we got back on warranty that the person claimed it did not work properly.)  If anybody else has any ideas please post them here.
Thanks & Happy Posting!
